We were sealed to Bryson on a beautiful day in June. It was sunny and warm and we had lots of family with us. We didn't really know what to expect as we had never done this before. :) We got to the temple early to do the necessary paperwork and the minute we walked into the temple we were overwhelmed with the spirit. We knew that Bry was supposed to be in our family and that this was what Heavenly Father wanted for him, to be in an eternal family. We dropped Bryson off at the nursery so that we could get into our temple white clothes and then we were able to spend some precious time alone in the celestial room, just the two of us. We talked about the day and how excited we were for our family to become eternal. We couldn't believe that the day had finally come!
When they took us into the sealing room we were again overwhelmed with the spirit. All of our family was there and the room was filled with so much love. We waited and a worker finally brought Bryson to us. He was in a little white outfit and was fast asleep. He looked to peaceful, just like a little angel. He slept while the sealer talked to us for a bit but when it came time to actually be sealed as a family he opened his little eyes and looked right at us. It was so amazing! He knew what was going on and we know that he was just as happy as we were. :) After we were sealed Bryson decided it was all right to go back to sleep! It was so adorable.
We were able to take lots of pictures of the day and we cherish those memories.
We were sealed to Madilyn on a beautiful day in October. It was sunny and brisk, the perfect Autumn day. Because Maddie had been fussy for the last 4 months, Tif was a bit nervous that she'd scream through the whole sealing! But, the day was absolutely perfect. We dropped our kids off at the nursery and went to get into our temple whites. Again, we were able to spend some time alone together in the Celestial room. We talked about how blessed we were to be able to be sealed to our daughter and how we never expected the day would come that we'd have 2 beautiful children! They took us into the sealing room and again we felt an outpouring of love. We had so many friends and family members who had come to share in the wonderful day with us.
It took the workers quite awhile to bring the kids to the sealing room. We were getting a bit nervous that Bryson was running down the halls screaming or Maddie was crying uncontrollably!! :) But, when they brought our children into the room they had big smiles and neither of them were crying. :) Bryson could sense that he was in a special place and was so reverent through the sealing. Maddie looked so beautiful in her white dress and was alert and looking around through the whole sealing. It was such a beautiful day and we are so very blessed to be sealed to both of our children.
